Defender Rami Bedoui will not play Tunisia's friendly match against Iran on Friday (March 23rd),
following an ankle injury that occurred during the Etoile Sportive du Sahel
match against Plateau United, as part of the Champions League. This is the
second package recorded by the national team after that of Youssef Msakni,
suffering from a double injury of the external meniscus.
The match will
also be whistled by the Egyptian referee Ibrahim Noureddine and will be
attended by his compatriots Heni Abdelfattah and Ahmed Houssem Taha. The Tunisian Football Federation has for
the occasion put up for sale 30,000 tickets and sent thousands of invitations
to fill the stands of the stadium and to encourage the national team to the
maximum.
The match will take place at 19:15 at the Olympic Stadium in
Radès. The technical staff of the Tunisian selection confirmed the defeat of
defender Rami Bédoui for the next two friendlies of Tunisia. Injured against
Plateau United in the Champions League, the defender of the Etoile Sportive du
Sahel cannot take his place in the Tunisian
defense against Iran or against Costa Rica.
