continent, the Champions League. Real
Madrid is the first team to play three consecutive Champions finals since the ‘90s;
the last to do so was Juventus between '96 and '98.

won on 12 occasions, losing only in 1962 against Benfica, in 1964 against Inter
and in 1981 against Liverpool. However this will be the 8th Champions
League final for Liverpool, the
British team with more finals in the competition. Liverpool have won the trophy 5 times, losing only in 1985 against
Juventus and in 2007 against Milan.
