Croatia and England will be offered to the spectators of the Luzhniki stadium in Moscow on Wednesday
evening, in the semi-finals of the 2018
World Cup. The two teams, who were rather classified in the category of
outsiders at the beginning of the competition, managed to break into the last
four with sometimes a little success and are now in the position to play the
final of this World Cup.
It would be a first for the Croatians, while the British
dream of taking another step towards the second title of world champion in their
history, after their coronation in 1966. For this semifinal, Croatia should
rely on its team-type and will again rely on the vista of his midfielders Luka
Modric and Ivan Rakitic.
The kickoff will be given by Turkish referee Cuneyt Cakir,
who has already officiated at Morocco - Iran and Argentina - Nigeria at this World Cup. Remember that in the event
of a tie, at the end of regulation time, both teams will play overtime (2x15
minutes) and then a penalty shoot-out. The winner will play the final on
Sunday, July 15, from 8 pm in Moscow.
