Venue: Stade de France

Ireland qualified for Euro 2016 in favor of the rule rewarding the best group of 3rd finishing behind Germany and Poland in its qualifying group.

Placed in the same group as Sweden, but especially as Italy and Belgium, the Irish will want to avoid at all costs repeating the "feat" of Euro 2012, where they lost all their matches.

For that, the selection of Coach Martin O'Neil will use its executives, accustomed to harsh physical duels of the Premiere League, including Shane Long, Seamus Coleman, John O'Shea or Shay Given. This first game against Sweden will be particularly important for both teams as Belgium and Italy seem for the first two places.

Opposite, the Swedes are also qualified by finishing third in their group, behind Austria and Russia. Coach Erik Hamrén will rely on an experienced group around the star.

To this base will add more young players whose talent is already known, but must pass a course internationally as striker John Guidetti (24). Like the Irish, Swedes will seek qualification through the best third hen.
